Triggers in MS SQL SERVER 2000 which executes in MS SQL server automatically

Hi
 I have three update queries given below. I want to covert then in to triggers so my REQ_COVER table is upto date which rely on the info from other tables.if there is a other automatic method please let me know.
Please also suggest how do i control my triggers execution

Update REQ_COVER
SET  TC_TEST_CASE =( Select TS_NAME from Test where  RC_TEST_ID  = TS_TEST_ID)

Update REQ_COVER
SET  RQ_REQ_NAME =( Select RQ_REQ_NAME from req where  RC_REQ_ID  = RQ_REQ_ID)

Update REQ_COVER
SET  RQ_FUNC_AREA =( Select RQ_USER_01 from req where  RC_REQ_ID  = RQ_REQ_ID)
