a CASEd update

what's the correct way to CASE these two updates such that I can do it in one run, as opposed to two separate updates on the different types? :

AND u1.Source = u2.Source
AND u1.Type = 'O'
AND u2.Type = 'A'

UPDATE u2

or even these two, can this be cased into one?
