That does not cover my issue. Its about changing a domain name which is something I dont want to do. (Done already). I just need to find where it is passing this connection string.

In the application event log we are getting lots (every minute) EventID:1000's. The desciption reads:
#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_RSSVR2_1414639615 on SCSQL1.corporate.com. Check the database connection information and make sure the database server is running.
RSSVR2 is our share point server but SCSQL1 is the SQL server. The SCSQL1.corporate.com is the old domain name. Where can I change this to point to SCSQL1.newdomain.com?
