New to OpenXML in SQL. Getting "handle parameter must be of data type in"

Tags: openxml, parameter, handle, must, sql
Hi,

Here is my xml that I put into the variable @xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>  <!--Product="LIC-WLS81-CLS-128", Release="8.1", BEA_License_ID="2416581", License_Creation_Date="10/02/06 17:00:41 PDT" -->      <bea-licenses>  <license-group format="1.0" product="WebLogic Platform" release="8.1">  <license  component="2PC"  cpus="5"  expiration="never"  ip="169.81.18.92"  licensee="Chase Manhattan Bank"  serial="454493271161-2131198369037"  type="RTK"  units="unlimited"  signature="MC0CFQCm0KSnxyrc/qOvAVM5mcA1O8i/OAIUH1YZbh6r9/jHj/dYXQF7VGDh5H8="  />  <license  component="Cluster"  cpus="5"  expiration="never"  ip="169.81.18.92"  licensee="Chase Manhattan Bank"  serial="454493271161-2131198369037"  type="RTK"  units="unlimited"  signature="MC0CFQCm0KSnxyrc/qOvAVM5mcA1O8i/OAIUTv9kNtGBI5TBODIQUIdz3mdn/ak="  />  <license  component="Clustered JMS"  cpus="5"  expiration="never"  ip="169.81.18.92"  licensee="Chase Manhattan Bank"  serial="454493271161-2131198369037"  type="RTK"  units="unlimited"  signature="MC4CFQCm0KSnxyrc/q

And here is my attempt at OpenXML:
declare @xml nvarchar(4000)

select @xml = bea_license0
from mg_bealicense
where name = 'mmintprdapp1'

select name,value
from openxml(@xml,'/bea-licenses/license-group/license',2)

I get this error:
Server: Msg 7000, Level 16, State 1, Line 7
OPENXML document handle parameter must be of data type int.

Why is that? Can you fix this so I get to the value "Compnent" in the xml string?

Thanks,
