Enterprise Manager (MMC) Crashes on Database properties window
Enterprise Manager (SQL Server 2000 on Windows XP) is crashing with the following error:
The instruction at "0x420941f2" referenced memory at "0x00000019". The memory could not be "read".
As far as I can tell, this ONLY happens when I right-click a database and select properties.
I've tried reinstalling client tools, and also copying the mmc file from the SQL disc.

What is your service pack? Have you installed SP1?

I installed SP4, but I noticed it doesn't actually replace or modify the Enterprise Manager MMC file.

That's a good breakdown for general MMC problems. It was partially correct. I actually had to uninstall SQL 2000, then MANUALLY delete the files in the /binn directory. For some reason, they all remained. Then I reinstalled everything.
Just uninstalling, or reinstalling did not work. Copying the MMC file from the CD also didn't work.
