  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. migrate from DB2 to SQL 2005 - dates

I'm frustrated. I can (via coldfusion) migrated everrything I need from a DB2 server to an SQL 2005 server except some of the dates. If the column in DB2 is a date type field it converts just fine. If it is 8 bytes numeric I end up with strange dates not at all what I need. This is how the code sits right now;

I also need to insert a null date when the source date is zero.

I won't go into what all I have tried. I'm open for any suggestions.
