Jobs using a Maintenance Plan fails

I have a MSSQL 2000 server with build 8.0.2187 that currently is in production.  I had a maintenance plan created fo, lets say system database backups to run each morning at 0200.  When you create the maintenance plan, and select a schedule (Daily, 0200, etc) the wizard creates the maintenance plan and then creates the job in SQL Serer Agent.  When the Job runs, it fails.  But, I can create a nightly job by right clicking on the database, select tasks, and Backup and set a schedule there, and the job runs just fine.  Obviously, I would like to accomplish this using a maintenance plan, any assistance whould be helpful.  I have 15 other servers, running the same version and build with no issues.Start Free Trial
