Restrict table growing by setting max amount of rows

HI

I have a table, which I use to store data from our courier. I run a dts script which imports the data every 30 mins. 99% of the time the script runs fine and the data gets added and all is good, however there is an error in my script and every now & then it goes into a constant insert & before i know it I have a million rows in my table, the log files expand to 10gb and everything grinds to a halt.

My table has an identity column named 'dbid' which is set to INT (identity = yes) increment =1

the current table size is 260,000 rows, is there a way to set max rows to say 300,000 so that if my script goes wild, it wont crash the server?
