How big can the body parameter of sp_send_dbmail be?

Hello all,
   I have a pretty simple question.  I should probably know this because the words are right in front of me, but I want to make sure that I'm looking at it correctly.

   In the help file for sp_send_dbmail it states that the Body can be NVARCHAR(MAX).  What does that mean?  Does that mean only 4K?
