SQL DTS Package works but Job fails when executing the package

Asked by Wedmore in MS SQL Server

I created a DTS package which pulled data from an ODBC source and put the data into a SQL table.  All transformations are correct.  I execute the package manually and it works perfectly.

In Local Packages, I right click and choose "Schedule Package" putting in the schedule (2am).  As a test, I went to the Job that was created and ran it by choosing "Start Job".  It fails with the following error:

Any ideas why?  I didnt think there is a difference between executing a package manually and then as part of a job.Start Free Trial
