Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Querying linked DB2 server from SQL server 2005 using 4 part name

I am trying to query a linked DB2 server on Sql server 2005 directly but get the following error.
The OLE DB provider "DB2OLEDB" for linked server "MylinkedServer" does not contain the table ""MyDatabase"."MySchema"."MyTable"". The table either does not exist or the current user does not have permissions on that table.
I have also tried all sorts of variations for the above, switching schema, database etc.

I can use Openquery ok but don't wish to use this as I need the query to run directly on SQL server since it has parameters.

select a.* from openquery(MyLinkedServer,'
select col1, col2 from MyDatabase.TableA') As a
inner join TableB on a.bplitm = TableB.prodcode
where a.bpexdj >= @parm1

Problem is TableA has 5 million records and usually this is reduced by parm1 which would be 100000 records, this takes far too long.This used to run completely on the DB2 server but now TableA is is on DB2 but TableB will be on SQL server.

I tried EXEC sp_tables_ex N'MyLinkedServer'  also and got tables back. My table was there.

I have seen lots of people with the same problem but it doesn't seem to have been answered.
Has anyone out there actually queried a linked DB2 server directly using 4 part name?
If so, could they please give me an example?

Secondly, if there are other suggestions, I welcome them.
