Ok, I am panicing now....
I have followed the Microsoft Document...
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sbs/2003/maintain/movedata.mspxIn order to free up space on my C:\DRIVE
I moved the SQL .mdf and .ldf files over to another drive, not I am getting Backup Exec Failing while trying to connect to the Databases, and ALSO I am getting error messages in the EVENT LOG such as...
"#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on servername\SharePoint. Check the database connection information and make sure that the database server is running."
I cannot tell what the hell is going on....I have a theory that I may have made a spelling typo and assigned the .mdf files to a mispelled instance e.g. "STSconfig" instead of "STS_Config" but I cannot tell.
How can I get a visual representation of what the hell instance the databases have been reconnected to after the move.
Please advise as I am now without all my SQL databases and my BACKUP is failing.
Thanks
miff
