Datetime field overflow because of the year entered

Asked by TheChos in MS SQL Server

I'm having trouble inserting a record with a DATETIME field. When I set the date equal to a value with the year 208, eg. 4/20/208, I receive a "Datetime field overflow" error message.  Any idea as to why this would be happening?Start Free Trial
