i have a site where cursor operation conflict errors have suddenly started appearing.
from what i read, this could be caused by issues with server side cursors for the recordsets... i had recently just changed some queries to server side cursors, so i thought that this was the problem.... so i was going to have them use an older version of the code.
it got the error too.. i went back to a version of the code that is a year old. that got the error.
this started happening about a week ago.
the weird thing is that occasionally it works ok.
so my question is .. what can change in the sql installation that might cause this error, how do i check this setting, and then how do i change that setting.
