I have encountered problem with mirroring which caused db connection freezes, when I check from sys.dm_exec_requests it was found below wait_type caused the problem, I killed the process but it just hung without releasing the sessions, now I wonder if Mcsft had any improvement on wait_type DBMIRROR_DBM_EVENT which I found always be the performance culprit

what type of mirroring do you have setup? is it synchronous or asynchronous?
