The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Search for specific date in SQL database using VBA code

I am trying to write some code that will allow me to have someone enter a date in the search criteria and have it return all matching dates from a column in a SQL database. Seems like this should be simple.
I have a SQL database running on Microsoft SQL 2008. I am writing a program in Access 2003 that uses this database.
This search criteria form that I have builds the Where statement depending on if the user inputs data into the textboxes. I am trying to return records that match a date. I know that SQL stores the date and time together in this column. How do I write the code that will search for a date regardless of the time? Here is what I started with.
If Not IsNull(Me.txtDateAdded) Then
        strWhere = strWhere & "MyDateColumn  >= """ & Me.txtDateAdded & """) AND "
        strWhere = strWhere & "MyDateColumn < " & DateAdd("d", 1, Me.txtDateAdded) & " AND "
    End If
This doesn't return any results no matter what date you put in. Do I need to convert the MyDateColumn to a format that just has the date? I am not sure how to do that in a way that will not affect performance to much.
