Asked by gtrapp in MS SQL Server, SQL Server 2005
I have a SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition on a 64-bit Server. I was upgrading from SP2 to SP3. After completing the upgrading, the setup reported some componets failed to be installed. Error is:
MSP Error: 1316 A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: <some path to the file>
Any suggestions why this occurred? Products that failed are Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer, Backward Compatibility, and SQLXML4.
