Image in a report in Reporting Services (2008) displays in IE 9 but not 8?
Hi,
I have a report in reporting services 2008 with an image that will display in IE 9 but not in IE 8? What could possibly be causing this issue?
Thanks,
Rhonda

Changed the image format to .GIF instead of .JPG and this fixed the problem.

Note that changing a .jpg to a .gif automatically changes the colorspace to RGB, as that is the only colorspace that the .gif format supports.

If you take the image into, say, IrfanView, and resave it in RGB color space, you should be able to view the image in any browser.
This is an IE8- limitation.
