Currently we are running wsus 2.0 build 2.0.0.2340 RC on a single machine for about 320 clients.
We have received a copy of BPS 4.1 along with 9 new blackberry phones that they would like us to install. Since this is the only viable machine to install it on my question is what kind of conflicts will there be?
WSUS is running MSDE while BPS requires SQL 2005.
Upgrading WSUS to 3.0 SP1 notes state that it will install windows internal database. Is this the same thing as SQL 2005 express?
Can BPS and WSUS work together with 2005 express or are there limitations?
Any links to specific instructions on how to make this work would be appreciated.

Bes has upgrades every year or two, WSUS has upgrades every year or so. I would not mix the two. I use WSUS on a older hardware, the IIS and SQL lite are not that intense. Yeah, it maybe another server and another Windows license, but think about a day or two of downtime, how would you BB users feel.
Maybe you could run WSUS as a virtual machine on another box.
