Hi,

I need to create a table which has an auto indexing ID column.  I've done this in Access and hope I can do it in SQL Express as well.

Any suggestions.

If, by "Auto-indexing" you mean automatic numbering (like Access' Autonumber feature), here's an example that demonstrates that:
CREATE TABLE myTable (ID int identity, field1 varchar(20))
INSERT myTable(field1) values ('First Record')
INSERT myTable(field1) values ('First Record')
select * from myTable
WHEN you run this, you'll notice that the ID column has been automatically assigned values 1 and 2--just like the AutoNumber feature in Access.

Oops.. the second insert should read
INSERT myTable(field1) values ('Second Record')
but it doesn't matter--it works either way.
