Scripter25,
BTW, that permanent table is denormalized. A better design would be to move the address
info into a separate related table with a 1-many relationship to PermanentTable.

Patrick

Browse All TopicsI have a table Temp Table that looks like this
oInfo_ID int
profile_ID int
SessionKey nvarchar(MAX)
oInfo_add1 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_add2 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_city nvarchar(50)
oInfo_state nvarchar(50)
oInfo_zip nvarchar(50)
oInfo_bAdd1 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_bAdd2 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_bCity nvarchar(50)
oInfo_bState nvarchar(50)
oInfo_bZip nvarchar(50)
The Permanent Table looks like this
oInfo_ID int
profile_ID int
order_ID int
oInfo_add1 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_add2 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_city nvarchar(50)
oInfo_state nvarchar(50)
oInfo_zip nvarchar(50)
oInfo_bAdd1 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_bAdd2 nvarchar(200)
oInfo_bCity nvarchar(50)
oInfo_bState nvarchar(50)
oInfo_bZip nvarchar(50)
As you can see the temp table has one field the live table does not and that is the sessionkey field
I am storing info into the temp table just to move to the live table after confirmation. How do I copy a row and or Rows from one table to the next
