Upgrading to SQL 2005 best practice

I have been backing up SQL 2000 DBs and just restoring to SQL2005 and this has worked but I do not think I am getting all the benefits of SQL 2005 by doing this correct? If so what can I do to correct the DBs I have already moved and the best direction to take in migrating all the rest of the DBs I have existing on SQL 2000. I have SQL 2000 on on the old servers and am moving the dbs to new blades SQL enterprise 2005 on 3 x64 clustered servers set to active/active/activeStart Free Trial
