When my default.aspx page loads I get this error for the connection to my SQL 2005 DB.

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

I have already gone to Surface Area Configuration to ensure that Remoting with both Named Pipes or TCP/IP is enabled and it's set to both for remoting.

I verified that my local account has access to the DB.

Not sure what else to check. The database is simply a local database on my home PC running Vista Ultimate.
