SQL 2005 Job not Notify on success.

Asked by GabicusC in SQL Server 2005, MS SQL Server

Tags: Microsoft, SQL, 2005

I have just configured and tested the Database Mail on my 2005 box and all works great.  I then set up an operator to receive emails when a job finished with success.  But when I run the job and it has finished,  I do not receive the email.  I have checked the log file and it says

The job succeeded.  The Job was invoked by User LA_OPERA\rcomito.  The last step to run was step 1 (Test Proxy).  NOTE: Failed to notify 'Rich Comito' via email.

How do I trouble shoot why I am not getting the email?

Thanks
