Advice for learning SQL nuts and bolts

Hi all,

I am looking for advice regarding increasing in depth knowledge of MS SQL server. I believe I have advanced skills in Windows/Exchange and my day to day position has shifted to more of a DBA role. As a result I would like to gain a much deeper understanding of SQL and its inner workings. I obtained a great deal of my in-depth knowledge in Exchange from various blogs including the Exchange team blog and was wondering if anyone had any good sites that they would recommend or books that I should be reading.

I do have a good knowledge of SQL and can complete basic T-SQL queries to pull data from databases when needed however I am by no means deeply knowlegable on the product.

Thanks in advance.Start Free Trial
