Do not backup db's that are offline and don't give me login errors

Asked by darovitz in SQL Server 2005

I want to continue to use backup "all databases" in my sql 2005 maintenance plan BUT I want to be able to take a few of the databases "offline" and not have errors such as:
Event Type: Failure Audit
Event Source: MSSQLSERVER
Event Category: (4)
Event ID: 18456
I don't want to simply hide the audit failures as I need to know BUT I don't want them to showup because of the db's I took offline.  That is too much reading the logs for me.
