Is there a difference between 2005 management studio and EXPRESS versions - need 32 bit for local machine

Hello,

We are upgrading to a new 64 bit server, running Microsoft Server Standard 2008 64 bit and SQL Standard 2005 64 bit (from Server 2003 running SQL 2000)

In the past we have always used Enterprise manager to do work locally from our desktop machines.

I understand that SQL Standard 2005 has a new program called 2005 Management Studio, that should do the same job (possibly even better), but here is the problem...

All of the software we have bought is for the 64 bit servers. Our local machine is 32 bit so of course we cannot install the 64 bit version of 2005 management studio.

Would the 2005 management studio EXPRESS version be just as capable? Or does anyone know if Microsoft would provide us with a 32 bit version?

Thanks

Kirk
