Disable auto run of report

Asked by somorain in SQL Server 2005

Tags: Microsoft, SQL Server Reporting Services, 2005

I have a report with two parameters with default values that runs automatically. I want to disable this autorun so that the user has the option to change the parameters before running the report. I saw a suggestion elsewhere of adding a hidden parameter but this is not working either as I then get an error that the parameter has no value. If I then give the parameter a value the report goes back to autorun and I'm back to square one!

Surely there is a way around this??Start Free Trial
