Creating Last Updated Unique ID Field in SQL

We currently use a field that updates with the date and time and last user initial each time a record is saved.

We have written a trigger in SQL, however we have over 200 files that will need to use this construct, is there a better way, rather than writing a trigger for each one?Start Free Trial
