To help with performance issues we recently upgraded our sql server's disk array secenario by adding 3 new array's to the server to better split up our databases, log files, and help overall performance.
We went from 10K SCSI drives to 15K SAS drives and now have log files on a seperate RAID 1 array. Also, we have 2 200GB (roughly) databases that are now split across 2 RAID 5 arrays (one database on one array, the other on another array) with again, newer faster 15K drives.
Previously (before the upgrades) we have the databases and log files all on the same array, a single RAID 5 array and performance wasn't good (not terrible but not good). Last weekend we moved all the databases and log files over to one of the new RAID 5 array's and performance increased (so at this point, everything is still on it's own array but faster drives, faster controller, etc). To increase performance yet again (or so we hoped) last night we cut and pasted one of those 2 larger databases to it's own RAID 5 array and also moved it's log file over the above mentioned RAID 1 array.
Now when I look at performance counters the pages/sec memory counter are averaging 1400? We've also noticed CPU is up (around 50%) and average disk queue lenght is around 5. These numbers are all much higher than before the recent database move and I can't figure out why.
This is a dual core 4 processor SQL box with 32GB of memory and it only shows SQL using 1.7GB of that memory so we aren't capping SQL or short on memory. With the upgrades, I expected everything to look great this morning but so far not so much.

I believe I found a solution on my own. I'm not sure how one closes there own question and receives a refund on the points?
