The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

HI,

I facing a different issue while running a select statement on a table.

Its givng me a error msg while running select statement:

Msg 0, Level 11, State 0, Line 0
A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded.
Msg 0, Level 20, State 0, Line 0
A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded.

I found - select statement is running file when i removed one column from the select list.

Its not even allowing me to remove that column from the table.

When I run DBCC checkdb on the database its givening me some error msgs...

DBCC results for 'db1'.
Msg 2512, Level 16, State 2, Line 1
Table error: Object ID 4, index ID 1, partition ID 262144, alloc unit ID 262144 (type In-row data). Duplicate keys on page (1:4224) slot 9 and page (1:4224) slot 10.
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 1 consistency errors in table 'sys.sysrowsetcolumns' (object ID 4).
Msg 7995, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Database 'Martjack': consistency errors in system catalogs prevent further DBCC checkdb processing.
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 1 consistency errors in table 'ALLOCATION' (object ID 99).
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 2 consistency errors in database 'db1'.
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.
