Browse All TopicsI am trying to solve this problem with
MSSQL 2005 SSRS,
I have a 4 level hierachy
Business Unit,customer,service type, service name
and 1 fact. minuntes_usage
DA, Cust A,S1, Service 1, 14400
DA, Cust A,S1, Service 5, 14400
DA Cust A,S1, Service 6, 14400
DA, Cust B,S1, Service 2, 25000
DA, Cust B,S1, Service 4, 25000
DA, Cust B,S1, Service 5, 25000
Notice that the minutes_usage is constant for a customer, this is the problem I have.
I want to be able to sum the usage for all customers that belong to the DA Business Unit.
So the report should look like the following
DA 39400
Cust A 14400
S1
Service 1 14400
Service 5 14400
Service 6 14400
Cust B 25000
S1 Service 2 25000
Service 4 25000
service 5 25000
I can get Cust A to equal
1440 by using the expression =field!minutes_usage.value

Hi,
Right click on the column where you want to hide the duplicates and select properties. There should be a check box hide duplicates check that and SSRS should take care of it.
Hope it helps.
