Browse All TopicsHello Experts,
We have some SQL jobs that were created by an admin who is no longer with our company. We have changed the Job Owner to a different user but the notifications still go out with the old users name (here I call him 'Terminated User') in the 'FROM:' field of the email. Can anyone tell me how to change this?
Thanks.

Check the Mail notification configuration this is where the sender information is set.
under the management, open the database mail wizard.
Select the manage database accounts and profiles.
Select the last option that lets you view, change, delete etc. accounts.
Once there you should see the defined profiles on the system.
You should not delete the account unless you plan on going through all the jobs to update them to use a new profile. I would suggest you edit and update the information to reflect the new information.
