Sharepoint Installation - Office Server Search 10036 error - Event ID 10036

Hi All,

I am getting Event 10036, Office Server Search errors on boot after installing WSS 3.0 with SP2 and search services 2008.  Does anyone know what this is caused by? There are a lot of guidelines about with various solutions, some with SQL errors, some with authentication errors.  

Could someone please shed some light on this as I really dont want to go down the wrong route.  

My SQL server is 2005 server and is waiting for updates, infact it is still on SP1 - would this have anything to do with things?

Do you have any stored procedure named dbo.Profile_GetAliasList? How this setup is done? Are sites working?

This is a known issue and can be safely ignored as per Microsoft given below:

hi,

I dont have any stored procedures under this name unless the WSS 3.0 install created it.  I am not entirely sure I am happy about leaving a SQL DB error in the eventvwr, does anyone know how to get rid of this?

P.S sorry I havent replied over the weekend, I have been away.

Yes.. This is a system created stored procedure.
As mentioned in the link provided, you can ignore this error and your setup should work successfully..
