Join delete

I have 2 tables.
Table 1:  T1Id, CId
Table2:  T2Id, T1Id
I want to join Table1 and Table2 and delete from both tables where CId=7.
There is a foreign key and therefore first data from Table2 must be deleted.
 How is best to do this?

in sql server, you cannot delete from both tables "at once".
you can delete inside a transaction...

Corrections:
delete from Table2 where T1Id in ( select T1Id from Table1 where CId = 7 )
delete from Table1 where CId = 7

If the sub select (inside the in clause) returns many records then you will have a problem.
It is more preferable to use the relation instead of the in statement

so try this

DELETE Table2
FROM    Table2 INNER JOIN Table1 ON Table1.T1Id = Table2.T1Id
WHERE  Table1.CID=7

DELETE FROM Table1 WHERE CID=7

Dear dankangr;
What problem will we have in the sub select if there are many records and how would the join solve it?
Actually, the join always has its performance drawbacks. I am not sure; what benefit will we get from the join?
