Browse All TopicsHi, I have taken a MS SQL 2000 database in file that doesn't have .mdf extension. I gave the .mdf extension and I began the attach procedure but I had an error message. Then I tried a restore procedure but If I understood right you can restore a database only if you had previously taken a back up and I do not know if this file is a backup file. What can I do?
Thanks
