Can we install SQL server 2005 and 2008 both on same machine?

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to retain my existing SQL server 2005  and install 2008 to try it out. Any information will be very helpful.

Yes it is possible.
Only thing u need to keep in mind is you will have to create a named instance not used by another version of SQL wich i think you already know :)
