Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. SQL 2008 - Cannot run Maintenance plan for Database Integrity - Alter failed for Server

Hello,

We are on SQL Server 2008 and we get an error when running a newly configured maintenance plan. (See below)

When we run each of the T-SQL command individually in query analyzer it works but not when we execute the maintenace plan.

All other maintenance plans works such as backup.

We have tried the following already as researched from different sites:
1) sp_configure 'allow updates', 0 reconfigure with override. We changed value from 1 to 0 then back again with no effect.
2) checking automatically set processor affinity mask
3) checking automatically set I/O mask.

None has worked.
