Browse All TopicsIm using a SQL 2008 machine and connecting to a db on a SQL Server PE machine. My data feeds from the outside to the SQL PE box. This setup I cannot change. I can t bypass SQL PE.
I have the db linked to the 08 box. All is well until I run a query on this data and get the following error.
Can I avoid this using the setup described above, or do I need to find an alternative means of connecting to the SQL PE box?

Why are you running your query in debug mode?
In management studio, write your query and then click on the exclamation mark instead of the green arrow. or hit F5 or CtrlE
