SQL Express installation questions

I am installing SQL Express 2008 but have questions about what features to select. Shall I select any of these options?

I just want the basic usageage and have not ever used anything advanced. But usually I see a few checkboxes checked. This is a different installation program than I am used to.

select the database engine and the client tools
or for the safer side you can go ahead with the default options

Thanks. Can having "too many features" selected ever hurt me? I have plenty of disk space.
