Use command prompt to do this.
USER xp_cmdshell and then you specify copy command and copy files which start with abc.

Browse All TopicsI have an ssis package that calls a vb exe which copies a file from the server's local c:\ drive to a network share \\servername\sharename. I can run the exe from outside the package and it works fine. However, if I call the exe from the package - the package runs without errors, but the file does not copy over. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you

Does the SSIS package run as a user that has access to the file and the target folder?
Do you realize that you don't have to use a VB app to copy the file and that you can do that from within SSIS?
