The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. table design question

This question is intended to be a "how do I" question?  I am trying to recreate the table design to link to a superbly designed form.  

How many tables do I need for the following and what is the overall model to look like:

1) each instance - I need to track the date/time stamps for 'each time' a newly entered task is opened, closed, activated, and deactivated, up to several times daily, for each of up to say 50 tasks daily.  That is to say that one day might involve 100 or so records showing multiple open/close date/time stamps, and multiple activated/deactivated date/time stamps.

2) detail type - I need to track 'detail' for each task that is unrelated to any of it's associated date/time stamps.

3) detail type - I need to track a 'completely' separate' detail based either on one of two elements:  Either whatever 'today' is (to be entirely separate from task detail and their associated date/time stamps), OR based on a named item such as 'quarterly reports' to be determined on-the-fly.  That is to say that this separate detail should be in a table all it's own.
