how to show a record in the main form's fields from a selection in subform's fields of main form

Asked by onaled777 in Access Forms, Access Architecture/Design, Access Coding/Macros

Tags: Microsoft, Access, 2007

I have a main form with a subform. The subform shows related records using a query. Each record that shows in the subform also has a unique ID. This unique ID is also shown on the main form record (although not used to link the main and sub forms).

I would like to be able to click on a field on each of the records in the subform and populate the Main form fields with the related data. Thanks.
