The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Microsoft Access 2003 Form: How to change ControlType of CheckBox on SubForm at runtime?

Microsoft Access 2003 Form: change CheckBox control type to Option Button control type on subform at runtime.

I have a main form and a subform. There is a check box control on the subform by default. But I would like to change this to option button at runtime.  The following code does work:

On Error Resume Next
If Forms!Form2.currenview <> 0 Then
DoCmd.OpenForm "Form2", acDesign
Forms!Form2.chkDemo.ControlType = 105
DoCmd.OpenForm "Form2", acNormal
End If

The only problem is that I don't want to open the subform outside of the main form.  I want it to stay whithin the main form.  I don't know what syntax to use to do this. Can anyone help please?
