Field truncation in Access VBA
I am opening a recordset in VBA (no grouping or union) which has a memo field. When I try to transfer the field to another recordset it is sending garbage after the 255 character. For example one memo field contains the following:
Motion for Relief from Stay (Second Mortgage), Notice of Assignment of Hearing, and Certificate of Service, Fee $ 150 filed by Marc E. Ripps on behalf of Wilshire Credit Corporation. Hearing to be held on 12/18/2007 at 01:30 PM in Courtroom 1404, Atlanta, (Attachments: # (1) Exhibit "A" - Note# (2) Exhibit "B" - Security Deed) (Ripps, Marc)
When adding that record to another recordset it receives the following:
Motion for Relief from Stay (Second Mortgage), Notice of Assignment of Hearing, and Certificate of Service, Fee $ 150 filed by Marc E. Ripps on behalf of Wilshire Credit Corporation. Hearing to be held on 12/18/2007 at 01:30 PM in Courtroom 1404, Atlanta,Ü???Ü?Ü?Ü???Ü ???Ü???Ü???????Ü?? ?Ü?????Ü???Ü? ?? ???Ü?Ü ? ? ? ? $ ??????
How do I get it to transfer the entire memo field (as a note the destination field is also a memo)?
