I have a text tile containing strings of text in the following format:

>ATIEA01TF
GTTCTTAATTACAACTGCCAAAAATAGTTGACCGGAGTTGTGTTCTTTTTTTTTGTCGAA
CCGGAGTTGTGTTCAATGTCAATATATGTGAACTGTTGACAAAATTAGCTTTTTCCTTTT
>ATIEA04TF
TAAAAATGGTAGCTTCTCTTTCCTTTCATTCCATCGCCACCGTTAATCCAATCTTCTCCG
GCGATGGTGGTCGTTCAATCTTCCGGACTAATCGCCGATTCGAAGCAACTGGAGTGAGTT
TCACAGGTCAGTGTAAAATCATCCAATCTGAATTCTGTTTCTTTTGTCTAAATCGAAATC
TCTGAGTTTTC
>ATIEA06TF
CTTGTTGATAAGTGTGTGAGCATTGGACCACAAAAAGAGGCCTCCAAGAGCGAGTATCGA
CTTAATGGATCGATTCAAGAAAATGCAATTATGT
... and so on.

I need to import and add this to a table with >ATIEA01TF in one column and the GTTCTTAATTACAACTGCCA... string in another column. Thing it might be doable in VBA, but I am having some problems with figuring out how to work with that format. The length will be maximum 60 characters per line. I also have access to Perl so I have the option to use that too. Anyone know how to do that in VBA or Perl?Start Free Trial
