Using SQL query as Array

I want to create a type of array that is populated with the results of a SQL query. The array will be used in another query which in turn needs to be exported to an excel file.

My array query would be: Select Distinct store_id from t_psd_Imports.

So very roughly my VBA code would look somethng like:

DIM qarray AS String
DIM qnum AS Int
DIM strsql AS String

For qnum = 1 To UBound(qarray)
qarray = (Select Distinct store_id,store_city from t_psd_stores)
strsql = (Select store_id, store_name, qty, deposit from t_psd_imports where store_id = qarray(qnum) and store_city = qarray(qnum2))
DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputQuery, strsql , acFormatXLS, "C:\Central Billing\Export\"& qarray(qnum)& qarray(qnum2) &".xls"

So hopefully this sub would create a seperate xls file for each distinct store_id in the t_psd_imports table. Each file would be named according to the store_id (qnum) and store_city(qnum2) fields. I know this code is very bad. Just trying to show you what I want to do. How can I do this?
