AccessVB: Open/Print pdf files from Access.mdb

I would like to open and print a pdf file using Access VB. But the code I submitted below does not work, will someone help me make it work?

Shell ("C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\acrobat.exe H:\Deliveries\Exxo\P6-9-08 Sams 33-0-9-DEL-2008.pdf")

Is there a way to open the pdf. without using shell? ( If I give my Access.mdb to someone who has installed adobe in a different location, it will not work)
