Query object and parameter question

Asked by billcute in Access Coding/Macros, Databases Miscellaneous, SQL Query Syntax

What is the best way to place two PARAMETERS in a query object?. I tried the one below but did not work. I was getting:
"Syntax error in PARAMETER Clause"
------------

PARAMETERS [BeginDate] DateTime, [EndDate] DateTime
AND PARAMETERS [LastName] & "."' & [FirstName];
SELECT tblW.PermitNo, tblW.PermitIDate, tblW.AppDate, [LastName] & "  " & [FirstName] AS CustomerName
FROM tblW INNER JOIN tblCustomer ON tblW.CustomerID = tblCustomer.CustomerID
WHERE (((tblW.GenStatus)="NoPermit" Or (tblW.GenStatus)="Application"))
GROUP BY tblW.PermitNo, tblW.PermitIDate, tblW.AppDate, [LastName] & "  " & [FirstName]
ORDER BY [LastName] & "  " & [FirstName];Start Free Trial
