Code to set Pass-Through Query Return Records Property

How do I use code to set the Pass-Through Queries Return Record Property?  The line below doesn't work.  FYI:Sometimes the query will have a return value and sometime not.

use True, thats what I use in DAO pass through property set

I can do that using the properties window but it doesn't work in my code?  I don't think "Return Record" is the correct name.

I get the following error:
 Run-time error '3265':
 Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested
 name or ordinal.

on statement:
cmd.Properties("ReturnsRecords") = false
